[dropcap]VCC[/dropcap] organized at the European University Viadrina the first intensive summer course at Polish university level. Among the participants were Chief Compliance Officers of various large Polish and international companies. The seminars taught the necessary knowledge of the individual structural elements of a compliance organization, liability risks of the Compliance Manager and the implementation of an effective compliance management system. Moreover, the Summer School speakers who deal in their daily work with national and global aspects of compliance have taught the participants on certifications, risk management, soft skills, data protection and IT compliance. In the end a certificate examination was held in order to test the participant’s knowledge. Due to the high demand further editions of the course are planed.
